Our mission is to provide you with a tour experience, which highlights the music and dance traditions of the great Mali Empire.   We coordinate open level workshops that are suitable for researchers, dancers, musicians and those with general interests.  You are also provided with an option to arrange private instruction upon request. 

We look forward to showing you African tradition the Senegalese way.

In the capital city, Dakar, life is a vibrant cultural rush of sites and sounds.  Awaken to the beautiful call of the muezzin, visit museums and artisan markets, relax on the beach, taste the best of traditional African cuisine and feast your eyes on an array of Senegalese ingenuity.  Dakar, “the Paris of West Africa”, boasts an exciting nightlife with live performances by international stars and DJs that will keep you dancing all night!

Dance and drum classes are conducted by members of the National Ballet of Senegal who will share their extensive knowledge of dance, song and music.  Each December the company presents an annual spectacular at the Daniel Serrano Theater – a great time to be in Senegal!

ZIGUINCHOR, Casamance

Far removed from the bustling city life, you arrive in the tropical landscape of the Casamance region, home of the Djola, people.  In this tranquil environment, the hospitality of local people will delightfully charm you.  Experience a unique aspect of traditional village life in Casamance, Senegal.  This is a prime opportunity to advance your knowledge of the dances and music of kutiro and bougarabou rhythms!
